Found Another Lock!
I posted an OP about 2 or 3 years ago about my tendency to leave my less expensive locks (especially cables) locked to bike racks and gas meters and various poles. Then when I get fired or quit I forget the lock. I estimate that I have 5 or 6 deserted cables, and one old U, occupying bike racks all over the city. I've lost the keys, and some of these poor locks have been abandoned for years
I don't change jobs frequently, I'm just getting old

and they accumulate.
Well yesterday on my ♪♫Slow Ride♫♪ I found another! I had been a Wing Stop manager for a couple of years about a decade ago, and I rode by the ol' place and - there it was - a long lost cable lock still there! These bike lock companies must love me.

Funny. I do occasionally see abandoned bike likes on posts and such so I guess your not the only one.
