Anyone have any experience with the Sunlite QR-TEC front rack?

Seems like a fairly solid, reasonably priced front rack for forks without mid fork brazes. I'm looking for something to mount a basket for everyday and possibly panniers during a tour.

Never seen it. I'm curious to read reports of it. Attaching to the axle has its drawbacks, but it makes some sense.

Honestly I wouldn't purchase any more sunlite products. the adjustable rear rack I have is welded off-center (seriously its gotta be leaning at about 10 degrees) and is really wobbly and cheap, made from very thin aluminum. Not something I would put any weight on.

I told the company and their attitude was more or less "meh. your problem now sucker"

Id try a planetbike or a wald or something else. Not sunlight. Its cheapish but you really get garbage.

Not worth it, I know a guy who bought one and he hates it.
I bought the cheap sunlite front rack and it was pure garbage, unable to mount it to cantilever bosses and even after modifying it to work I would be afraid to haul anything on it.

I have the one xuwol7 mentioned. It's obviously no good for panniers (too small and not strong enough) but it's a decent rack to hold a handlebar bag/lunchbox/cooler or a smallish basket. Even though it was sometimes handy I removed mine and will probably sell it or give it away.
