I think I'm actually going to return it to Costco and get the next smallest size down.

But you used it. You want them to refund you because you lost weight?

Forgive me for mentioning ethics in a bike forum. I guess they don't go together?
Never the less to never mind. I hesitate to provide anything that I have found useful, but since my leather tools were "claimed" by followers of modern American ethical practices.................I have found it easiest to use a drill to "punch" holes in a belt as one increases their fitness levels and the gut shrinks. See below: |
Does Costco have an REI-like return policy?
Can I return my old, holy (holey?), slightly stained underpants to Costco for full refund?? WHAT A DEAL!!!!! |

Free rentals. Imagine if we could do that with cars and bikes. "Don't like it any more. Give me another."
Reminds me of the old joke about the WWI army troop stuck for weeks in some French trench: Sargeant: "Men, I have good news and bad news. Good news is today we all get a change of underwear. Bad news is Phil you change with George, Paul you change with Marty...." |
I use a Dremel for punching holes in leather. The bit I use is a pointy steel polishing bit. Probably not the intended use, but it leaves a nice clean edge.

This is crazy, if Costco lets the guy return his belt, in exchange for another size, where is the harm in that? Costco's return policy lets you do that, so the poor guy isn't breaking any laws or violating any codes of ethics except for your own ethical code, which is aparently flawless.
Guy's droppin lb's like crazy, give him a break. BTW I return stuff all the time, sometimes without a reciept. I once returned a sportcoat after wearing it to a wedding because I decided I didn't like it. I am a human knife cutting through the fabric of decent society I guess. |
Well, I wouldn't dream of doing it. If you don't think it's wrong, go ahead. Dropping pounds is great, but it doesn't entitle him to more than normal.

As a Costco member, I'm hoping they tell him to take a hike.
