I pack my bike the night before. So, all I do in the morning is roll out of bed, get my gear on, have a cup of coffee (key ingredient), leave a #2 and hit the rode.

Bikes: I have 3 singlespeed/fixed gear bikes

I pass several green spaces and parks during my commute. I usually stop and pee behind some bushes or trees.

I commute one hour each way, and I never have issues like this. Maybe I ought to feel fortunate?

I don't get why pooping before a ride is an issue - didn't your bike shorts come with an absorbent pad down the middle to solve this very problem?

I'm kidding btw.

Poopy time is always right after I get up in the morning. Sometimes that's the only poopy time all day.

Me too. I like the predictability, albeit a predictably urgent event. I deposit a load that I'd just as soon not carry with me to work!

You guys had better stop, or I'm going to have to post the entire story of the time I pooped my pants while riding in New Jersey and then had to bike all the way home to Long Island with the load in my shorts.

Anyway, I, too, have this same problem just before leaving work. I think, as corrado33 said, it's the body anticipating the exercise. However, my guess is that it's psychological, rather than bio or physio-logical.
