Not commuting ruins my day =(
I started commuting only 3 weeks ago, and I took yesterday off because my old man was in town and he brought his bike. I got to work and I was sooo tired I couldn't function for 2 hours at which point I was restless. My old man and I put in 25 miles last night, and I returned to commuting today. I wont make that mistake again.
There's no real point to this, I just wanted to complain about my newfound addiction.

I feel for you.
Whenever I don't commute I don't feel as energized throughout the day. Then it either taking the bus (which doubles the commute time), or having to wait for coworkers to leave so I can hitch a ride...
The bike lets me leave when I want... And not to mention that the day is over as soon as I get out the door. Oposed to taking the car/bus, where you're just anxious to get home to finish your day.

I so agree. I had to drive in today and I don't see how people do it on a daily basis. I even drove my wife's nice Audi, the traffic was light, and still people were driving like they were extras in a demolition derby and I got flipped off twice for apparently holding people up because I was doing the speed limit. I can't wait until Monday where I can be safe on my bike again.

Didn't ride yesterday or today
because I needed the car to haul stuff in preparation for the Dogwood Festival in Atlanta.I get to work a shift at the festival staffing a bike safety table on Saturday and Sunday. What a way to spend the weekend.

At least I'll get some riding in both days. No cars allowed in the park and the closest parking space will probably be a mile or more from the park. Bikes and hoofing it are the only ways in to the festival.
