Bowtie with coordinated pocket handkerchief, though I would not wear it to a legal proceeding, but lawyers are known ot wear them; maybe (non-flashy) to a funeral.

I only own bowties ... I have quite a collection. I don't actually own a regular tie.

Maybe you could try bolo ties. Approved neckwear in southwestern states. We had a Boy Scout version that took the place of the neckerchief.
