Survey for master thesis project about commuting
Hi everyone,
Let me quickly introduce myself here. I am student in industrial design at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. At the moment I am working on my master thesis project. For my project I will be focusing on cycling accessories for commuters. I am looking for commuters that have 5 - 15 minutes available to fill in a survey that will help me with my project.
I am a cyclist myself as well, I commute to school everyday. Copenhagen is a really bicycle oriented and friendly city, so that helps. My daily commute is around 8 km one way and I ride an old Raleigh Rapide 12 from 1982, but I converted it to a single-speed.
If you have 5 - 15 minutes available and would you like to help me with my project, please fill out my survey.
The survey can be found here: https://goo.gl/forms/jw1fF44T4o
If you have any questions or comments feel free to post them here as well.
Thanks in advance.
Michel

Cheers Mixel and welcome to Bike Forums.
I see you covered most of our Guidelines for Survey postings in your introduction. I'm moving this thread to the dedicated Survey forum.

Filled in the form too. +1 on coming back to share, that would make you pretty unique when it comes to survey takers in BF.

Ok thanks Juha. I did not noticed that there was a special part for it on the forum, apparently I did not had a thorough look at it
.
Papa Tom, this survey is for educational purposes. I focused my survey on the wearing of helmets, shoe covers and gloves and optionally other accessories. With these results I want to design a line of accessories that can be used by commuters.

same thoughts by me as well
when I did my masters thesis, we were required to provide a disclaimer up front on the clinical aspects of collecting data
maybe its different in the EU
sorry for the pessimism

Thanks guys.
qclabrat, There is a small disclaimer in the introduction of the survey in which I state that the answers are anonymous and will only be published for educational purposes. But it is just one small sentence

Hi,
A bit of a late reply. By now I have finished my project and graduated. For my project I designed a pair of gloves and helmet for three different persons. The idea behind the project was to make cycling accessories that fit within the lifestyle of the three by me defined target groups. I developed the gloves with the help of the Danish company GripGrab.
I haven't uploaded my project yet, but I have put some pictures online on the schools website. I still need to shoot some proper images of my final models. Feel free to have a look. This is the link: https://kadk.dk/en/project/cycling-a...ries-commuters
Thanks again for the support.
