Back in the saddle again and
nothing says you haven't been riding for a while quite like a 20+mph headwind. The B17 doesn't feel as comfortable as it used to either, but these are much better problems to have than the waiting to be able to ride again.

I felt that way on Friday, when we had high winds. I commute along the Hudson River, a very windy place.

Thanks! I was thinking of that part of the journey Nancy Vogel wrote about in her book (Switching gears?) where the wind was so bad they had to pedal to go down some of the steep passes in South America then. I knew my situation wasn't anywhere near as bad as theirs was, but....
