I'm not complaining, just thought it was kind of funny. We had it pretty easy this year.

My daughter was running a mild fever so I had to stay home until noon until my wife got back. By that time the roads were just wet. Hard to know how much refreezing I'll have to deal with this week so I might have to drag out the winter bike.

Even though I'll be gone next week things look like they'll be headed in the right direction by then.

here in chicago, we got 5" of snow yesterday. it was pretty wet and then it got cold enough last night for some good refreeze action.

needless to say, i was back on my studded winter beast this morning, and i'm glad i was. lots and lots of refreeze ice.

I don't miss snow (and shoveling). :-) Y'all had it pretty easy the last few weeks didn't you? Funny it snowed on the first day of spring.
