Unicorn Frame Advice Needed

Unicorn Frame Advice Needed
I'll preface this post with the admission that I am looking for a bit of unicorn. I currently have a Rawland Drakkar but find it a bit overbuilt and heavy, plus too long (ETT and wheelbase) for my taste. I'm looking for something that is a bit lighter, with a more compact cockpit, and sportier feel. I've realized I don't need something that can fit 2.1 tires and that for my needs 38s are fine, 32 or 35 with fenders. So here's the wish list.
Price range for frame and fork: $600-$800
700/29 wheels
Disc
Front and rear rack and fender mounts
ETT 54cm - 55cm
Mid to low trail geometry
I have my eye on the VO Hunter Pass Disc but hear it's also a bit portly. The AWOL geo appears very long, as does the Vaya. I had a 1st gen Vaya and really did not like it at all; the geometry was all kinds of messed up to me. The Twin Six Standard Rando looks interesting but the build quality looks a little cheap when viewed online.
What else is out there I should look at?

Soma Double Cross Disc w/ straight blade disc fork.
Double Cross Disc | SOMA Fabrications
Straight Blade CrMo Cyclo-Cross Fork: Disc | SOMA Fabrications
$625 for the frame and fork.
Their 48, 50, and 52 frame sizes are all within your ETT range.
Disc brakes.
Room for up to 42mm tires or up to 38mm with fenders.
Double eyelets on the fork and rear dropouts.
64mm of trail. Not low trail, but pretty typical mid-high trail.
Soma makes an awesome chrome fork for either canti or caliper brakes that is low trail, for what its worth.
Also, the trail will be affected by what tires(size and height) you use, so 64mm of trail as a frame isnt necessarily what the built bike will be.
Anyways, that frame and fork meets all your goals but low trail. Im not aware of a disc fork with low trail, but I also dont have a need for disc brakes so I havent looked for one before.

Yeah, its a longer top tube. You didnt mention the frame size (seat tube) you wanted, zo i just went off the number you did list which is top tube length. DCs have that length...just in a smaller frame than it seems younare looking for.
So you want an ETT of 54 or 55 while the frame size, as measured by the seat tube (virtual or actual) is 54?
So a squared frame.
I got nothin if thats the case. Moat everything i see online has longer top tubes compared to frame size, that slso has the other things you want.
