If this is not allowed here then by all means delete this message. I wasn't sure. Last saturday we had our first annual SWIG Tour 2017. The ride was 53 miles long with 4596 feet of elevation. One climb on a level B road recorded at almost a 19% grade on one riders Garmin. For a first time doing it, it turned out really well. We had participants from Carrol Iowa, Des Moines, Cedar Falls, and St Joseph missouri show up. The weather was absolutely beautiful and the Level B roads were aplenty. I created an official event page on facebook and am inviting anyone who would like to "like and follow" the page. Comments, tagging, and photos are open to anyone and I would like to get people started posting their gravel pics through the year and adventures on the page. Most of all I hope the 2018 Tour is even better! All kinds of pics are posted on the new page linked to here. Thanks for taking the time to read this and maybe I will see ya in 2018.
