I also havent ever considered a dropper for my gravel bike. But I ride gravel roads so I want my gravel bike to be a road bike with wider tires.
Many out west seem to ride their gravel bikes on BLM/Jeep roads that are absurdly steep and technical, so a dropper is helpful to redistribute weight.
