Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Just curious.....

Just curious.....

By now, I am sure those of you that have read any of my posts know by now that I had picked up 08 Poprad Disc model for a good price. I have come to realize that it may be just a tad too large for me. I have a long torso, yet shorter legs. It's a 55cm and was wondering what a basically new 55cm frame might fetch? Any thoughts? Thanks!

When you say "a tad..."

Have you swapped out the stem for a shorter one? Looked into a drop bar with a different shape?

I ride a 52. I am 6ft, the TT between my 52cm Felt and my 55cm Lemond is virtually identical... I use the same stems... 100mm 6deg rise. The issue would be the standover height. It's right at that "sweet spot" on the 55cm. I have dropped the seatpost a lil to compensate for the stand-over height.
