Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Cyclocross bike/frame that accomodates cantis or disc

The old Redline Conquest was able to allow the rider to choose between disc brakes or cantis. Are there any other CX complete bikes or CX frames that allow that?

Raleigh furley is one. The geared CX raleigh uses the same frame.

Name dropping aside, It's Becoming more common, go shopping in the Bike shops.
typically adds $100. to the price tag.

commuter 700c wheel bikes too, they plan around people wanting mudguards
and rear racks.

SBS/red line is still shipping bikes.

Both the Uncle John and Kaffenback from Planet X have disc/canti mounts. Forks are not disc, but are not sold with the frame. Kaffenback also has swapout dropouts to go geared/ss. Nice bikes, love mine.

Only issue is the US site is horrible.

BD, through Bikeislandsite, sells AL frame/forks with disc also. They're a lot cheaper than Ti. I'd rather have Ti. Good luck

Van Dessel Gin & Trombones. Fietsbob is right - adds a C-note to the bike.

I like my Kaffenback much more than my Motobecane Fantom Cross Outlaw. I bought the matching disc/canti fork for it as well.

The Moto beats me up too much to keep.

Careful with some of these on the dropout spacing.

Most good disc offerings are on 135mm hubs. At least for right now there are very few 130mm disc capable hubs.

I know that bike...

Another vote for the kaffenback, Mike runs disc and I run canti's great frame.
I have a rack on mine right now for a child seat and canti's are no problem.

Another good thing about the Kaffenback, 132.5 spacing to work with both MTB or road hubs.
I have a DT Swiss wheel set with 135 space rear and my r500 Shimano training wheels with 130, interchanging is no problem.
