Goofy Signs

I'm hosting a Cyclocross race in November https://www.chicrosscup.com/2008LansingCrossFlyer.pdf

I thought it would be fun to put signs on the posts at different various parts of the course. Goofy signs for the racers to read as they race their race.

Naturally, they'd have to be suitable for all ages.

I'm thinking something like

"Entering An Eddy-Money-Free Zone"

or

"Approaching Sand Trap Of Despair"

or

"I Want My Mommy"

I'll open it up to you guys. List anything you want and I'll use them for the race. Anything goes, things your gym coach said, song lyrics, nursery rhymes, prayers, tv ads...anything

Thanks

How about something like, "Yes. It's about to hurt more." "If you can read this you're riding too slow". "Beats work."

"Pain is only temporary. It may last a.... Screw it, it's hurting now and I want it to be over!"

Play on the Lance quote:
“Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.”

If you manage to read either of those on a sign during a 'cross race you are either really slow or not pushing yourself enough.

I can barely recognize that faces (and voices) or friends and family who come to cheer me on 'cause I'm usually deep in oxygen debt.

You're about to get lapped...again.

In Native CXish: "mwfgah ah alkeha jhasdjhbhalllhahahahhaaaa"

Yes, these are UCI-legal height.

Was that the bell?

Wouldn't a nice cold beer be perfect right about now?

I'm not sure what it should read but you've got to have at least 1 stupidly long one in there somewhere.

"No, the next lap is NOT the last lap..."

"At least it looks fun in pictures"

"Sure would be nice to sit up right now, coast, and take a long cool drink from a water bottle, eh?"

"Hup Hup Hu...eh, just try not to puke"

"Don't worry, the officials will probably get your result wrong and put you ahead of like ten other riders anyway"

This one is for jpearl, because I know how much he LOVES* to get bumped up to a spot that wasn't really his.

*this is sarcasm.
