I made some nice barriers very easily out of PVC. I can post the PDF if you'd like.

Denver
I am not sure who is leading this or what exactly is involved, but thought I would share.
Half-day of Training Techniques and Skills Practice
Come ready to ride your cyclocross or mountain bike!
$40/person
Space is limited; pre-registration is required by 6p August 22nd
303.918.3404 www.Active.com
August 23, 2009
9:00a – 2:00p
Bicycle Village in Westminster
Sports Garage in Boulder has practice groups that take off on Tuesday mornings (7:30 AM I think), Boulder Cycle Sport will be having clinics, not sure when or if you need to be a member of their ride club.
If anybody has info on a local/after work/shop ride in Denver please post. Something like the Meridian crits for CX would be perfect.

Here is what I know about Denver\Boulder, more info to come. Add what you know about.
JDS Sportcoaching 8/23 in Broomfield - $40
Tuesday mornings at Sports Garage in Boulder (email Cam)
Wednesday Worlds in Boulder (7:30am, not much info on these, Maybe behind Vic's)
Working Man Worlds in Boulder (email Greg from Mud and Cowbells)
Boulder Cycle Sport clinics (starting soon, call them)
Green Mountain practices (rumor)
Table Mountain practices (rumor)
GP Betz ??? (check with Frites en Mayo, I saw this on another forum)
A Denver based after work practice ride would be nice, something similar to the Meridian Crits. I might make some PVC barriers and get a few people out after work. If interested PM me, or I will post info here and on RoadbikeReview forums. I'm thinking something close to downtown, or bikable from downtown.

Elk Grove Village, IL
Tuesday nights
Village Cyclesport cross intervals near Busse Woods. 6pm
Tentative currently but:
Geneva, IL
Bicycle Heaven
Thursday nights
Informal cross rides - we're looking to start offering up an alternative to our regular road rides just for thursdays right now.
Future:
Geneva, IL
Bicycle Heaven
Competitive cross night ride - includes some singletrack, MUP, trail, and road. Some sections require dismounts but in general we head out to various local parks where member kknow of great training trails. Usually includes at least one "race" on circuit during the ride. Rest of the ride is general skills and night riding.
Will start as soon as the sun prevents the regular road ride and/or the road schedule ends. Late September most likely.
