How long are cross tubular tires good for?

I have a set of Challenge Grifos that I have used for a season and a half. This upcoming season will be the second and a half for these tires. They are in decent shape and are only used for races (maybe 15) and minimal training. Should I just use them until they go or mount a new set for this season of racing.

Also, there is some small sections or tire tread separation. Can I just glue the tread back to the casing?

If the sidewalls weren't too hairy I'd run them.

They look in pretty good shape so may take your advice.

i'd race them, but pay attention to how soft/grippy the rubber is on the tread. if hard and brittle, you may want to set them aside and use them for training.
