Travelling east

Anyone know of good multi use trails between Toronto and Halifax? I know the roads but if there are good surface (no ATV's) trails that might be worth checking out.

From Toronto take the waterfront trail to Quebec and just jump on the Route Verte to New Brunswick. Not sure after that.

the trail system is not complete in New Brunswick.
