That is well said, thanks, so guys from now on let us follow the guidelines for this forum, we can just send email to our ride buddies, this way we are not clogging this forum.

Well kidding aside, this is the ride partners thread, I would like others to be able to join in on a ride, using this thread other people can read it and decided whether or not they want to do that.
Otherwise it turns into an unsolicited personal messaging, "do you want to ride with us" type page.
If i'm missing the point of this forum, please, let me know. It's funny how you said the exact same thing ewitz said, that we're clogging up this forum. We're using one thread for everyone in around Toronto, not a million.

Hi folks, I just joined recently and am enjoying and learning much about bikes (MTB and road).
I live in Thornhill and go riding when I can. Be nice to find a partner (male or female) but we'd have to have flexible schedules. I usually ride my Bianchi Advantage (hybrid) around hwy 7 and some industrial roads during the week to get in some cardio.
I also ride it on the weekend unless I hook up with a friend and go MTB with my full suspension supercycle. I plan to get a nice MTB in the next year or so but for now the SS is fine.

Im in toronto and Im riding in December, so Im not sure which nasty winters you are referring to
If you want a nasty winter, go spend some time in Edmonton.

They put heaters on the outdoor patios at night in the "summer." This is because it's too cold to sit outside and have a beer in Vancouver on a "summer night" unless you have the heater blasting and your parka on.
By contrast with the rest of Canada, winter in southern Ontario fits within the designated dates on the calendar. This is the first "ohmygosh" realization that Canadians from other places have during their first year of living in southern Ontario.
The mountains in B.C. are gorgeous. Go visit them now and then. But if you don't like eight months of rain, if you want to experience summer as you know it in most of the U.S., and if you want to live in or near the best city in this country, your best bet is southern Ontario.
