How tall are you? You could ride my second bike (the blue one), but its a tall frame so I don't think someone under 6 foot could ride it. I live close to st. george station so it wouldn't be hard to get it over there.

kingkelly 11-01-04 04:06 PM

thanks for the offer shiznaz, but im going to take it easy for now. right shoulder is being an ass, and right wrist is still feelin weird. I wouldnt trust myself on a bike like that too ;)

orguasch 11-01-04 06:21 PM

Operator, Kingkelly, shiznaz, Skyelo, and Msmitten and scooby Snax, lets ride on November 14, on my day off if snow is not yet with us, after the ride you can take a dip in my indoor swimming pool, (oh well the apartment where I live) and sauna

oscar

Scooby Snax 11-03-04 07:09 AM

Oscar, I think I'll take you up on that, are you thinking the donut run or jsut a toodle round town?

orguasch 11-03-04 09:40 AM

I did the double last Sunday and I suffered, no the "donut Run" is too taxing for an old guy like me, will just ride the small Bikeforums member ride on Sunday, but on Saturday I will do the "donut run" just half of it like all the way to "Grand Ma's Bake shop" on Yonge and King Road, up North, then I will head home.

Oscar, how far is half?

I like the idea of a half, so is that about 60K?

And I like the idea of Riding down Yonge from King... Once you crest the hill at Bloomington, its a decent downhill until practically Centre St. In Thornhill!! I'm all about the downhills!

operator 11-04-04 12:15 PM

This is the bestest weather ever.

Couldn't even go out to get my pedals.

Shiznaz 11-04-04 03:36 PM

I managed to get in a good hour long ride today. I was pretty wet when I got back though....

yes, about 60 K, from Laird and eglinton all the way to GrandMa's Bake Shop is about 40 K and if your going back via Leslie Street going back to my house would be about 90 K, and I will be able do the ride until 1 P.m.

orguasch 11-04-04 06:03 PM
