I am, we have a team called the K-Krew. Our team leaders wife is putting up a valiant battle with this horrendous disease. I can say she has motivated me into getting back into cycling. Last year I had to stop golfing due to some serious rotator cuff problems and I started to ride again (after many years). Her Husband also started riding and joined the ride......I made him a promise that if he finished last year I would join him this year and I am already registered for 2011.
Its been a fantastic journey, started with a mountain bike spent a fortune then realized my old bones were going to break
Sold my bike and became a roadie....never looked back.
We train as a small group usually 3 days a week and I am out on my own another couple. Good luck with your training, it should be a great weekend and we have all raised a lot of money for a great cause.

Maybe next year I will do Vancouver or Calgary instead, just to ring the changes.
