I've decided what I want to buy for my wife and I but for my bbs02 kit shipped to Canada it will cost a little over $1100 and for my wife's it would cost around $1000 (don't need to buy a 2nd programming cable or 2nd luna wrench)

It's hard to justify spending over $2100... my bike is my vehicle so I'm sure it's worth it but my wife does not ride very much at all, and never rides by herself. On top of that, I will be getting an IGH for my wife to shift more easily which could set me back another $200-1500. I believe roloffs are around the upper price? I am only tempted by that beauty of an IGH because it is bullet proof, and I do like quality. I haven't looked much into the other IGHs, I would love if there is a high quality cheaper brand.

Anyway, if I wait until, say, next spring... will I be able to get a good deal on 2 bbs02's? If it's only a measly deal of like $50 then I'd rather not wait. Would be nice to get the price down to below $2000.

Eric has sales at times, but I haven't seen a BBS02 for less than $500 US, so with a battery, charger and shipping, you'll be close to (or over $2K).

Call and ask. I hear they've got some pretty solid customer service.

Being from Canada, like me, another place you might check out is Biktrix in Saskatoon. I see Roshan has the BBS02 listed at $788.00Cdn. Not sure about taxes/shipping.
