I need a controller for a brushless motor
I have an electric bike. It has a 24 volt battery, it has an on off switch on the battery, it is equipped with pedal assisted throttle. The information on the control box reads as follows ( RATED VOLTAGE =24V. MAXIMUM CURRENT =15A. RATED CURRENT =7A . LOW VOLTAGE PROTECTION 20.5V, THROTTLE ADJUSTMENT VOLTAGE 1.2V - 4.4V PRODUCT #LSW 1000-1 X1212027961 EX-FACTORY DATE 26" 12 2012 CE-G3M20211-1582-16 I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT IF ANYONE COULD POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION SO I COULD PURCHASE ONE. THANKS ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Does your motor have sensors (eight or nine wire plug from the motor to the controller)? If yes, IMO you need to find a duplicate. If there is nothing to indicate manufacturer take pictures and post here and endless sphere. If it doesn't have sensors, you can match with something having the same or similar capacity. If you can't find a duplicate, it's possible that you'll need to change the electrical connections.

BMSBattery has small controllers that match those ratings. elife bike and greenbikekit also have similar controllers. They cost about $15? but figure on paying more than that for the shipping. ;-)

Look on ebay and you will find any number of 24V ebike controllers for under $24 shipped. The problem will be figuring what controller, and then figuring out all the connections, but you can get help for that.
First thing to do is count the number of wires to the motor. All will have 3 bigger wires, which are the phase wires that power it. Most motors will also have five small wires which will be for sensors. If it is one round cable, then unplug it and count the # of pins inside.
If the five small wires are not there, you buy a sensorless controller. Otherwise, buy a controller with sensor control.
First thing to do is count the number of wires to the motor. All will have 3 bigger wires, which are the phase wires that power it. Most motors will also have five small wires which will be for sensors. If it is one round cable, then unplug it and count the # of pins inside.
If the five small wires are not there, you buy a sensorless controller. Otherwise, buy a controller with sensor control.
