Further down the road

Further down the road
Ebikes can ride like a truck. I put a Redshift shock stem on mine, and it works well. If you are trying to avoid another bout of carpal tunnel, it's something to consider.
My wife has a permanently busted tail bone. I put a Thudbuster on her bike, and that is a big improvement, as well. I'd put one on my bike, if I had the room.
I also put Marathon Supremes on her bike. We've done a few rides now, and she is noticeably quicker. Of course, they cost twice as much..
I've seen a couple bikes now that are going for that non-ebike look; that don't have a place to plug in an extra battery. Doesn't look like swapping batteries by the side of the road is an option, either. But I'm not sure about that. In any case, a 250 watt battery with no way to extend the range doesn't sound very practical.
I ordered a pair of Schwalbe's newest ebike tire, I did that over a month ago, hopefully they'll show up before Fall.
I am so glad it's Spring.
