Bikes: Jamis commuter 2 , engwe EP-2 Pro 750 watt

I bought the engwe ep2 pro a couple of weeks ago. I really didn't know much about ebikes. In fact zero. So not knowing anybody that had one, I depended on my internet research, which was difficult to weed out the junk. I notice now, that the frame and most of all the parts are used on many different makes and models. My concern is service and or parts. Dealing with China isn't on my agenda, but it's what I will eventually have to deal with. I already had 2 folders for the wife and I , for use when rv'ing. I like the portability the little (not so little) fat folder provides. This ep2 pro ain't exactly lite (74 lbs), but that doesn't bother me. It doesn't matter where I am, or where the bike will be stored, I still need it to be as compact as can be. It seems I never have enough room. Now I have 4 bikes to maintain. One thing is for sure , I really like my new bike, and the other ones will be collecting dust from now on. I had all but given up riding due to the hilly area we moved to, with no bike lanes and or shoulders. The hills were just to steep for me to enjoy . Now I can go 16-20 miles at a time with no problem. Unfortunately just as I got comfortable on it, and have it outfitted with gear that I find useful it's almost freezing outside. Guess I'm going to have to get out there and embrace the cold.

Converted my Zizzo Liberte 20" folder to pedal assist via the Rubbee X kit.
Zizzo weight 23#, Rubbee weight 8.5#: slightly over 30#.

Bikes: Too many but never enough.

Still $999.. plus $200 if you want more battery capacity.
