Battery won’t recharge
I have a Shimano BT-E6010, 36v at 11.6 Ah, 418Wh. I will not take a charge. We plugged it into the charger and the charger light will not come on. We have tried it on the bike and off the bike with no luck. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a fault was detected by the charger, preventing a fire.
There are all KINDS of faults that can occur when it seems like all is well.
You can look into rebuilding services or recycle it and buy a new one.

Have you tried a different charger? When was the last time the firmware was updated? What did your local Shimano dealer say when you brought the bike to them? If none of that has been tried I suggest doing that first and hopefully they can find an answer or help with warranty or getting a new battery if even needed.

When a battery doesn't charge, I try another known working charger,
Other than that, unless you have a ton of electrical knowledge, let the Shimano shop worrry about it. They are too dangerous to work on without experience,
