Handle bar conversion questions.
I have a Lectric 3.0 step-over…
I want to install drop bars… The challenge seems to be finding road brake levers with brake sensors.
My bike has now hydraulic brakes and I think I will need to go to cable actuated.
Relocating the display, the power switch seem easy… The shifter too… The throttle I can probably live without…
Your thoughts please…

How it’s set up now.

I have these bars on two of my bikes…

I would ride this as is and get an electric road bike, trying to port everything over to a bike like that is going to be tough I don't think they make drop bar stuff for e-mopeds and the cheaper tourney stuff is not hydraulic.
You could go with a Velo Orange Crazy Bar if you really wanted to put money towards this and that will get you the position at the top of the drops as well as a nice comfortable swept back position.

You're using an index shifter? Wow.
I own three folders, and never liked the idea of putting a lot of weight on those flexing folding stems. Drop bars will do that.
Mount a magnetic sensor on one of the levers. If you're a good fabber, you can make it look good. I haven't looked inside the sensor packages, but I bet it's mostly air inside those rectangular boxes. I've used these on regular brake levers. I put them on the bittom where they're not seen, but on your levers, you'll want to hide them better.

I'll play the Devil's advocate here and question if you really need brake sensors. Sure, they cut off the motor when you're braking, but how often is the motor running when you're braking? Are you pedaling and braking at the same time, or hitting the throttle (if present) and the brakes simultaneously?

Agree with above as I've eschewed them on my "e's". The only time they were of use for me was when I was testing BH's dual motor bike and (apparently, according to their engineer) the bike had a problem with the torque sensor and the motor would shut off only with the brakes. I had a really exciting ride up an 8 mile, 30000' ascent and exhausted the entire 600wh or so battery.
