Does anyone ride a Giant Ebike such as the Suede?? What are your thoughts about the bike if you do own one?

I have a Giant Lite/Twist. It's no longer made, but can still be found as NOS. It's different than most Ebikes in that the motor is inline to the chain; the drive is made by Panasonic.
I love my Giant, I've added an XtraCycle kit to it, and can and do haul huge loads regularly. One of the advantages of the inline motor is the motor is able to take advantage of the bicycle hub's gears and deliver a lot of torque. It's been a tough bike that has taken a lot of hard wear.

The Suede has a hub motor. I've not ridden a Suede but have ridden other hub motor bikes. Great for sustaining speed, but not as effective of a puller.

i have two generation lafree giant bike..... the orginal one...... lets say.... abit heavy. about 70 lbs..

i have two sport lites.... one in fl one in nj..... and both serve their purpose.... with a little help over the intracoastal.... and in nj...... the hills... ect..... at times.... and when no in use ..... a regular mountain bike....
with a 1300 dollar tag..... and actually discontinued....... i would recommend to anyone......

and even my 1st generation is still running fine..... i just choose not to use it......

I gotta National frame with the Panasonic drive - absolutely one of the best systems for efficiency and smoothness and lightweight in pedal 1st technology. Also found in the Giant Lite/twist as noted by AlanG.

I'm looking for reasonable mods and any information about system.
