Of course; Vector about '70, speed records in So. CA. in the '80s (not sure if one of them ever got a motor), etc; mainly a tongue in cheek comment very few were mentioned as P-A for speed- especially interesting is all aerodynamic additions. I suppose some of the World War II pedal-cars were quite modernistic.
