building battery pack using 1.2v c cell ni-mh

hi could 1.2v c cell ni-mh rechargable batterys be used to make a ebike pack ? these are quite cheap and 60 togeather only weigh 8.5kg. i can buy 9000mah for 80p each any comments please regards

Any cell can be used to make an ebike pack. However, be careful on low cost cells they are commonly over rated. Some can be as much as 50% or more over rated. Other then that 60 cells can be a PITA to connect and charge correctly.
