lifepo4 battery bulging

What do I do with it? I want to dispose of it but not sure of the safe way to do it.

i would take it to an open spaced vented location with just concrete all around, then douse it with petrol and throw a match on it, much like the bomb disposal deal with bombs (they blow em) this way your local bin man won't get annoyed for lighting his truck on fire...

i could be totally wrong i've never used them, but i wouldn't knife these before destroying them...

Really wish i could use these batteries but no way in hell am i keeping a fire hazard in my home, sucks cause lithiums are just too damn complicated, expensive, tedious, geeky & dependant on too much bells & whistles... I would think you're putting your life in your own hands using these which is why i suspect it's got the name lifepo4...

your municipality should have a place for disposal of things like lithium batteries. Where I live it is callled SOCRA.

Web site:
SOCRRA
