Garmin Vivoactive & Wahoo HR Strap?

Anyone know for sure if the Vivoactive will pair with Wahoo Heart Rate strap. From what I have read on Garmin's website, its preferred HR strap links via Ant+. Since Wahoo's strap takes both Bluetooth and Ant+....I would assume it would link. Just trying to find someone who knows for sure before I jump off and buy the Garmin watch.

Should work fine. I'd suggest buying the chest strap from a store with a return policy that will cover you if it doesn't.

I already have the Wahoo HR strap. Just trying to decide if I should get the bundled Vivoactive....or if I can connect with what I already have.

The Wahoo strap supports Blue Tooth and Ant+. I use one with a Garmin 800 (Ant+) and it works great. It's a great replacement for the horrible Garmin straps

If in doubt, take the Wahoo Tickr with you and ask the store if you can pair it up to their display model. But if that's not possible, I would say that it should work without a problem. My friend had a Wahoo Tickr connected to a Garmin 500 for quite some time until he was able to get a steal on Garmin 800 bundle.
