Two riders wanting to communicate with each other...no more than 50 yards apart...is there such a thing?

These work really well. Full duplex so you can have a completely natural conversation. Audio is great and does not interfere with your ability to hear what is going on around you. They will work up to about 1500' separation (line of sight) and trees etc... can diminish the range. At the range you want, no issues at all.

Also will pair up with mobile phone so it can act as a headset if you get a call.

We have been using ours extensively for two years and really, really like them.
