Niterider MiNewt 600 VS. Niterider Lumina 750 Boost
Just curious what opinions are of these two headlights.
I bought the MiNewt 600 in 2013. While it works great still after three years, it was discontinued recently. So, I went out an bought the Lumina 750 Boost.
I know the question may seem like I already answered my own question.
I just want to hear from others.
TIA

I don't own the minewt, but own the 750 boost. I like it alright, the boost function is kinda gimmicky in my opinion, its ever so slightly brighter. A 600 probably would suffice my needs just as well, but I guess its nice to have the extra output available. It is plenty bright for my purposes though.

I have epilepsy, but thankfully I don't get triggered by strobe lights. The Lumina seems brighter at every setting. I do hope it won't be too bright.

My wife has epilepsy. One of the cheap cree lights I bought online and was trying out in the house has the strobe function right after high-medium-low, and it did trigger a seizure for her. Needless to say, I felt like an ass-hat. From what I have read, the police in the U.K. have slowed the flash on their lights for the same reason. Is it true? Dunno I don't live there. But I don't think theres anything wrong with trying to err on the side of safety. Not trying to be disrespectful or start an arguement.

You did make me wonder something. If police vehicles have two strobe settings(or at least they should have two). One for emergencies that is fast. But then one setting for times like simple traffic stops. That operates at the same speed of the old spinning lights. Because strobe lights are faster than the old spinning lights.
