Specialized Stix Comp tail light

just an fyi, I bought the Specialized Stix comp headlight and tail light a couple weeks ago, they arrived fully charged, I took them out for a ride last week and both ran out of battery during the ride. fine, it was a long ride. however, when I went to re-charge them, the headlight charged fine in my Mac, however the tail light would not charge, it appeared to be dead, pushing the power button would cause a couple flashes and then nothing. I emailed specialized support, I got an email back lest than half a day later saying they had sent me a new one and that I could dispose of the defective light.

fine good on them for taking care of a customer. however, I decided to try the light on some different chargers, one of them, an Ipad charger with 2.1 amps worked fine so i guess the electronics were only partially defective. the directions do say it should work on 1.1 to 2.1 amps. so now it looks like I am going to have 2 lights.
