Anyone use/used an Occulus headlight?

Has anyone here ever used an Occulus headlight?

If so, what are your impressions of it?

Is there something better in the same price range?

Thanks and cheers

I remember Barry from the days when CPF was a busy place. I'm not sure if he was a good engineer, but his marketing and public relations skills definitely needed some work!

Has anyone seen one of his lights in use? I'm still wondering if anyone has made a set of measurements to compare it to some of the commercial competitors (and apologies if it is contained in the mtbr forum... I didn't get through it all).

Thanks for those links.

Reading through the one on the mtbr/lights forum was hard but very rewarding as far as deciding whether or not to get an Occulus light. Definitely NOT worth potential problems and aggravations.

Cheers
