U-lock mounting locations
Where should I mount my Kryptonite Evolution 4 Standard U-lock? I have a 2022 Trek Marlin, and I've spent a couple of hours trying to find a good spot to mount it. If I mount it on the seat tube, it hits my knees as I bike. Using the top tube isn't an option since the radius of the U lock is larger than the gap inside the main triangle of the frame. I've tried using the rear triangle, but the lock interferes with the wheel and I don't want to risk damaging my frame/wheel.

The Marlin if not mistaken is a mountain style bike so might not be a great candidate for lock mounting and generally I have found the Krpto mounts to be unsatisfactory for long term usage. I would look at this: https://www.twofish.biz/accessories/...s-u-lock-mount
