Can you explain something to me? My brother runs NiMH batteries in his R/C cars, and he always completely discharges them before recharging. How necessary is that with modern batteries? I'm planning on using a set of NiMH batteries to power a bike light, and I doubt I'll completely drain them on my commute, as it's only about 15 minutes at the absolute maximum.
