2nd bike mount for Delphi 6.0 computer

Have been very satisfied with my Delphi 6.0 (with cadence, HRM and altitude)- used for 1 yr on my road bike. How easy/hard is it to use on a 2nd bike?

I've been told by the Blackburn/Delphi folks that I need to have a local bike store order a 2nd mount (I haven't seen any for sale online.)

I assume I need a 2nd "wirless transmitter" as well as a 2nd handlbar mount and 2nd cadence magnet/sensor. Not sure how much that will cost.

Does it make more sense to just buy another Delphi computer instead? For example - the Delphi 2.0 - and then just use the mount? Will my Delphi 6.0 work on the Delphi 2.0 mount?

I guess I am really asking- are all of the computer" brains" in the display device or is the wireless transmitter also different for different models?

Sorry about the late reply. I've been busy and cut out some of my forums.

Yes, the Delphi second bike kit is everything but the head unit (and HRM strap). I had 4.0s so I just bought a second unit.

I've recently upgraded to the Neuro 6.0. It's completely wireless, using a whole new pickup/transmitter unit that mounts on the left chainstay. The second-bike kit is only this pickup/transmitter unit. I't snot yet available, but Blackburn gave me the part number and I gave it to my LBS.

The Delphi and Neuro pickups are completely different. You can't interchange head units. In this case it's good because my headlights interfered with the Delphis. The Neuro is rock solid.

The Neuro's look VERY inviting - though the one that includes HRM and altitude is a little too pricey for me right now.

So think I'll go with the 2nd mount for the Delphi 6.0 for now.

Thanks for the reply / info.
