Cateye Troubles
Help! I have a Cateye Strada Wireless (8 months old) and last week while cleaning my bike I removed the front tire. Now the computer is not receiving input from the transmitter. I replaced the battery in the transmitter, but no help. I've tried holding the computer next to the transmitter with the wheel spinning, but nothing. Can't seem to track down my problem on the Cateye website.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Josh.

Most likely the transmitter is not close enough to the wheel magnet. You may have unintentionally moved the transmitter slightly, or the wheel did not return to the same position in the dropouts when you reinstalled it. Make sure the magnet is properly lined up when is passed across the sensor. A small change can make a big difference.

Yup...I agree with Old School. I have a Strada Wireless, too. Check to make sure that the sensor is within 5mm of the magnet...sometimes just a slight push in towards the magnet will do the trick. I have to angle my sensor in slightly toward the magnet in order to get a signal.

Strada Wireless
I just bought a Strada Wireless this past week and had the same problem. You can forget Cateye assistance, and also the 5mm max distance. Mine didn't start working until the distance twix the spoke magnet and the sensor was less than "1" mm. New batteries, possibly weak magnet from Cateye.
