my new stereo...



bolts down to the rear rack on my town bike, weighs a bloody ton, looks goofy as heck. have no idea what battery life is going to be yet.

cheap, though. since i had most of the parts lying around (had to buy a battery), total cost was about $30.

baby Blaupunkt amplifier, off-brand 6x9 speakers, 12v AGM battery, 1G iPod Nano.

we do a lot of "social" rides, where we cruise around at (very) slow speeds. one of the guys used a 14.4 drill battery to power a car head unit - i figured, since i had the amp already, that i could build something a little less clunky.

believe it or not, this actually is a lot less clunky.

so wrong on so many levels....look at that back tire! ....2 car batteries! ... a pop out dvd player on the handlebars... not going to mention dude is riding side saddle with slippers! ...and he's got a mullet fro!
