Edge 305 data display/accumulation stop

I used the edge 305 today for the first time in my ride (37 miles.) Things were going well until mile 15.6. It seems like after that point the data stop accumulating. The average speed, distance, total ascent just stop being updated. The unit was working though because the current speed and heart rate were being updated continuosly.

I came home and uploaded the data to GTC and it only has data up to mile 15.6. I wonder if anyone has seen this on their unit.

I will try to use it again on Friday to see if similar issue will occur.

TIA.

Sounds like you pressed the start/stop button.

I think that is what I did. Stupid question: It should resume if I hit the start/stop button again?

Yes it will resume. I typically only hit stop at the end of a ride. During the ride I have my auto pause set to kick in when my speed drops below 5mph. The settings for auto pause are in the Training menu path.
