Secure, removable mount for DX P7-D?
I have a Dealextreme P7-D (a flashlight about 10 inches long by an inch or so in diameter for the two of you who don't know what is). Great light. It's currently mounted via a TwoFish Lockblock. The light shifts around when I hit a lot of bumps no matter how tightly I wrap the velcro around it. The connection to the bike itself is fine (and if it wasn't I could always just use a hose clamp--I don't mind leaving the mount on the bike).
How can I mount this so it's removable, yet secure? Some sort of quick-release would be nice. Maybe I could use a different size of velcro? The strap I'm using only mates hook-to-loop over about a third of the surface that it could use.
I've tried wrapping the flashlight body with some electrical tape for a bit of friction, but it doesn't seem to help. I'm also mounting as near to the center of mass of the flashlight as I can manage.

cyccommute: You said the clip seemed weak on the one batteryspace mount. Was this something you actually saw fail, or was it more a "it looks weak" thing? (I agree, it looks weak--but it also looks convenient if it works).
Ziemas: the Cycloblock doesn't seem much bigger than the LockBlock. Your flashlight doesn't move around when subjected to bumpiness?

how often are you removing it?
i found duct tape and 2 plastic tie straps will secure light to bar dinotte style
removes with wire cutter..
it's not pretty but works great, you can do it in less time than it takes to research lock block sources/prices

Ziemas: good to know. For whatever reason, no matter how much I cinch down the lockblock the flashlight tends to eventually work its way forward or back (which then becomes words as the center of gravity is then off).
seeker: I remove it daily.
Granted, zipties are cheap, but I think I'd prefer something easier.
