Bicycling lighting recommendations

Bicycling mag is promoting a couple products that look pretty cool. Anybody have any experience with either of these? The joystick is a little pricey but it has me curious especially as a tail light. If the Dinotte is 120 lumens and this is over 200, holy cow!

I don't find either the Joystick nor the Knog that impressive. You can do better than the Joystick for less money. And no light is going to have a high output when it runs on 2 coin batteries as the Knog does.

Bicycling magazine promotes its advertisers. Check out the MTB Review headlight shootout, which indicates the Magicshine to be the most bang-for-the-buck headlight, outdoing many costlier alternatives:

still looking for info on its tail light capabilities though. I understand there are better choices for front lighting, I have some of them.
