Helmet Cam

I use the following:

$9 with free shipping. If you use a 8gb card you get close to 4 hours of 720x480, 30fps video. Works great and velcros to my helmet.

That's not anything like high definition. Also, though an 8GB card will hold 4 hours of video, I'd be really surprised if the battery lasted that long.
I don't think you can currently get high definition for less than about $200.

Not to mention it weighs close to nothing and is so small people dont give you that look as they wonder why you have a full-sized camera strapped to your helmet. Mine sits in the helmet channel and Ive talked to many a cyclist on my rides and they dont even know its there.
However, its not waterproof - just an FYI
I love mine - worth every penny and if I lose it - no big deal

Absolutely, and it's similar to the $16 one that I have. But the OP specifically asked for HD and this isn't.
IMO, if all you're doing is playing around, cams like this are as good as anything else < $100. But if you want it for some specific purpose, especially if you intend to use it for evidence, you need HD.
I think the little cams are also worth picking up to see how you like doing video. If you do like doing it and have a couple hundred bucks, the video out of something like the HD Hero pro is incredible; the difference to the little cams or even the $100 cams is incredible.

this one looks like it might be a bit more HD even though it looks the same as the other ones.
