Can this be over volted?

I have a 14.4 volt battery already powering a headlight. Will this be too much for this little strobe? If I could just wire it to the existing battery, it seems like it would be a pretty good deal.

Not a problem. I ran mine on a 16.8 volt pack for a couple of years. I did go through a few but it was because they couldn't take the abuse of 8 miles of gravel road a day, and components ripped off the board from the vibration.
