heart rate computeri
I purchased a sigma 1706 wireless HRM computer and i would like to hook up to my rear wheel indoor trainer. Does all the electronics have to be in view of each other to work like on the front wheel? Or can wheel sensor and magnet be placed on the back with the chest strap and computer monitor facing frontways? Possibly a stupid quest.

Its radio transmission, you should be fine. There is no need for line of sight.

thanxs for the info. After rereading my manual over a few times i saw the diagram that pictured 30 degrees angle and 40 cm distance alignment. So i remounted the computer from handle bar to top tube mid way to the seat stays within 40cm. of the rear mounted magnets and it works great for winter indoor trainer. hope this saves someone time and money. mike
