Reshell a basic LED front headlight-any Ideas/pic's?

Hey, I have an old Peugeot UE-8, a bike that came with "integrated" lights on the fenders when new. they ran off a wheel rub generator. Currently I have a radbot 1000 installed with a bracket on the rear fender, which is fine, and A planet bike blaze 1/2 watt installed on the front fender where the original light used to be. I did this by grinding down the handle bar mount bracket and then screwing it to the fender. It works well and looks allright, but I was wondering if anyone here had ever had any success reshelling something like a blaze in a more "vintage appropriate" casing? I know there are lots of DIY LED headlight schematics available on the net, but how about one that uses almost entirely parts from a readily available "be seen" type headlight, stuffed into an old headlight casing, or using basic hardware store type parts.

Any Ideas and pics appreciated.
