Be sure you put the little rubber plug into the USB socket. My light had been performing strangely (worked, but charge indicators were not what they were supposed to be). After riding in a downpour when my little rubber plug had fallen out, however, the light stopped working entirely.

Dinotte fixed quickly under warrenty.
