Garmin Dekoda 20

Has anyone used a garmin Dakota while stationary cycling on a wind trainer?
How do you upload the info. I have no gps signal where I am in the house. Garmin says I can, but can't seem to do it.

You will need an external speed cadence sensor to get the gps to work with the stationary bike.

I have a cadence and HR sensor that have connected to the gps and the info is being recorded, but there is no file to upload to garmin connect.
Do you need satalite info to create an activity?

I have the Oregon, not the Dekota; however, it works for me. The key for me is to not use the normal uploader for garmin connect. The default uploader for PC's strips out the information recorded by the external sensors. Have you tried the manual uploader? Have you looked at the virtual drive when you have the device connected to a computer?
